Harness Racing Products

Glen Mia has a long history with the sport of Harness Racing through family connections involved in the sport. Ian's father, Henry Rixon, trained and drove for 45 years in the Bega District. Brother Peter Rixon is also a driver and trainer based in the Picton region of NSW. Along with his wife, Cindy (Turnbull), they have up to 10 horses in work on average. Peter is pictured at right on their owned and trained pacer, Divisive; winner of the Breeder's Crown 2005 and finalist in the 3yr old Victorian Derby 2006.                                                                               

Ian and Glen Mia ACT are very involved in the Canberra Harness Racing Club and the Glen Mia truck is present at all trials and meetings.

Glen Mia ACT also services the new training and racing facility at Goulburn Harness Racing Club.
